CCC Celebrates Wellness Education Center Groundbreaking

Corning Community College (CCC) and the Corning Community College Development Foundation (CCCDF) are pleased to announce a milestone event celebrating the groundbreaking of the new Wellness Education Center on the Spencer Hill campus on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 1 p.m., Gymnasium, Corning, NY. Invited guests included faculty, staff, donors, local political and business leaders, members of the CCC Regional Board of Trustees (RBOT), CCC Development Foundation Board, and community members.

Photo opportunities included a christening of construction equipment and earth breaking marking the beginning of the construction phase. Thomas E. Blumer, RBOT Chairman; Dr. Floyd F. Amann, president; and Conrad Wolan, CCCDF president; offered remarks and an update on projects.
